We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Permanent Company Nurse - (LVN) to join our dynamic team in the Manufacturing industry.
This role is integral to our company's success, as you will be responsible for providing top-notch healthcare services to our employees, ensuring their safety and well-being.
This position is full-time and requires a minimum of three years of experience in a similar role.
Responsibilities:
As a Permanent Company Nurse - LVN, your primary responsibilities will include:
1.
Providing immediate care for on-the-job injuries and illnesses, as well as coordinating appropriate follow-up care.
2.
Managing all aspects of the workers' compensation process, including filing claims, coordinating with insurance providers, and ensuring all paperwork is completed accurately and on time.
3.
Conducting thorough incident investigations to determine the cause of workplace injuries and illnesses and implementing preventative measures to reduce their occurrence.
4.
Developing and implementing health and safety programs aimed at promoting wellness and preventing workplace accidents and diseases.
5.
Conducting routine inspections and risk assessments to identify potential hazards and ensure compliance with all health and safety regulations.
6.
Providing health education and counseling to employees on various topics, such as stress management, nutrition, and exercise.
7.
Maintaining accurate and detailed records of all medical treatments, incident investigations, and workers' compensation claims.
8.
Collaborating with management and HR to develop policies and procedures that improve workplace safety and health.
Qualifications:
To be successful in this role, the candidate must have:
1.
An active LVN certification.
2.
A minimum of 5 years of experience as a Company Nurse or in a similar role, preferably in the manufacturing industry.
3.
Extensive knowledge of workers' compensation processes and regulations.
4.
Proven experience in conducting incident investigations and implementing preventative measures.
5.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to effectively interact with employees at all levels of the organization.
6.
Strong problem-solving abilities and the capacity to make decisions quickly in emergencies.
7.
Proficiency in using healthcare software to maintain accurate records.
8.
The ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion.
9.
A commitment to continuous learning and staying updated on the latest trends and best practices in occupational health and safety.
10.
Physical stamina to stand for long periods and respond to emergency situations promptly.
