We are seeking a dynamic and dedicated Permanent Quality Supervisor to join our team in the food industry.
As a Quality Supervisor, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring that our products meet the highest quality standards.
You will be responsible for overseeing a team of quality control inspectors, coordinating quality assurance activities, and ensuring compliance with industry and company standards.
This position is perfect for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, has a keen eye for detail, and is passionate about maintaining high-quality standards.
Responsibilities:
1.
Oversee daily activities of the Quality Control department, ensuring all tasks are completed accurately and on time.
2.
Develop and implement quality control processes, standards, and procedures to maintain high levels of production quality and efficiency.
3.
Conduct regular audits and inspections to ensure adherence to quality standards and regulations.
4.
Collaborate with the production team to address and rectify any issues affecting product quality.
5.
Train, supervise, and mentor quality control inspectors, fostering a culture of continuous improvement.
6.
Analyze quality control data and compile reports for management, highlighting areas for improvement.
7.
Participate in the development of new products and processes, ensuring quality considerations are incorporated from the outset.
8.
Liaise with suppliers and customers to address any quality concerns and ensure satisfaction.
9.
Stay current with industry trends, technologies, and regulatory changes affecting quality control and assurance.
Qualifications:
1.
A minimum of 5 years of experience in the food manufacturing industry, preferably in a quality control or quality assurance role.
2.
Proven experience in implementing and managing quality control systems and standards.
3.
Strong knowledge of manufacturing processes, quality control principles, and industry regulations.
4.
Excellent leadership and team management skills, with the ability to train and mentor staff.
5.
Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and address quality issues.
6.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to liaise effectively with team members, management, suppliers, and customers.
7.
Proficiency in using quality control software and tools.
8.
A degree in a relevant field, such as Engineering, Manufacturing, or Quality Assurance, is preferred.
9.
Certifications in Quality Management, such as Six Sigma or ISO 9001, would be an advantage.
